Lillian Marguerite McLeod Harpin, 91, beloved wife of 63 years to Harvey Harpin, passed away on July 13, 2023, at The Village at Buckland Court. Born October 9, 1931, to the late James and Helen Crowley McLeod, she graduated from Wytopitlock High School and Farmington State Teachers College.
After graduating from Farmington State College, she moved to East Hartford, CT. Lillian met Harvey while teaching in East Hartford. They moved to Bolton, CT, in 1968, where they raised their four children.
She leaves behind her husband Harvey, children Nancy Kassien and her husband Randy, Michael Harpin and his wife Stepheni, Norman Harpin and Deborah Harpin; her grandchildren Rebecca Harpin, Kyle Harpin, and Tyler Kassien; her siblings Patricia Jobes, Mary Crowley, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Michael McLeod, Terry Crowley, and James Crowley, sister Nancy Wilde, aunt Marguerite Crowley McKinney (affectionately known as Barbie) and uncle Ardie McKinney.
