Lois A. Webster
Lois A. Webster, 89, of Broad Brook, CT, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at the Suffield House. She was born on December 14, 1935, in Medford Lakes, NJ, to the late Francis and Adelaide (Chamberlain) Schwarz.
After graduating from high school, Lois moved with her parents to Mill River, MA, and went on to earn her nursing degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsfield, MA, becoming a Registered Nurse.
Lois dedicated her early years to raising her three sons as a devoted homemaker and later worked as a school nurse at East Windsor Middle School, as well as in several area nursing homes. She had a love for antiques and turned it into a business as well as a love for the Native American Culture.
She had a deep love for animals and enjoyed raising chickens, cats, ducks, and geese. Lois cherished vacations with her family, especially their annual trips to Weekapaug, RI and periodic trips to Block Island. Her sons fondly remember her adventurous spirit, including the time she owned motorcycles when they were young adults.
Lois will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ronald Webster and his wife, Charlene, Steven Webster and his wife, Pamela, and Michael Webster and his wife, Denise; her grandchildren, Mindy Chiem and her husband, Johnny, Justin Webster and his wife, Mackenzie Watkins, Sean Webster and his wife, Chelsea Raiola, Rebecca Hanks and her husband, Kody, Kaitlynn Webster, Cynthia Webster, Bradley Webster, and Allison Webster; along with several extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. A private burial will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025 In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois' name can be made to Enfield Community Cat Project at https://www.enfieldcommunitycatproject.com .
