Jeanette was predeceased by her parents and two siblings, Keith Clark of Frenchville, Maine and Helen Dixon of New Brunswick, Canada.
After graduating from Southern Victoria High School, Jeanette followed her adventurous spirit to Connecticut, joining her sister Phyllis in search of new opportunities. It was there that she met Bill, the love of her life, at a party. Together, they built their forever home in Tolland, where Bill still resides.
Jeanette began her career in Connecticut at Underwood Typewriter Company before moving on to Bross Line Construction, where she worked for nine years. She later took time off to raise her children before returning to the workforce as a bookkeeper at Vernon Publishing. During this time, Jeanette pursued her passion for learning, earning a B.S. in accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University after 13 years of dedication to evening classes.
Upon retiring, Jeanette embraced an active and fulfilling life. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and traveling extensively across the U.S. and Canada with her family and friends. Her visits to New Brunswick were particularly special, as they allowed her to stay connected to her family. Her children especially loved her Blueberry Buckle and Rhubarb Pie, which became family favorites. Her granddaughter Vin held a special place in her heart, receiving boundless love and affection.
