Michael Little Obituary

Michael P. Little, 59, passed away on May 25, 2013, in the presence of his family.

He was born to Paul and Geraldine Little in Hartford. Michael served eight years in the United States Navy. He was a lifelong resident of Tolland County, and came to Florida earlier this year to be cared for by his family in his final days. Michael worked as a ship fitter at Electric Boat in Groton for several years, and also was an avid NASCAR fan.

The family has planned a private memorial service for Michael, and he will be dearly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Casey Little, Colchester; daughter, Cari Vince, Harrisburg, N.C.; four sisters, Brenda (Wayne) Colombaro, Phoenix, Ariz.; Patricia Fisher, Ormond Beach, Fla., Denise (Nick) Roman, Ormond Beach, Fla.; and Andrea (Leon) Jones, Deleon Springs, Fla.; brother, Joseph Little, Port Orange, Fla.; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents.

My condolences goes out to the whole family. He helped me raise my children,(Maria & Henry) and will always hold a special place in my heart and my children's heart. He truly was a great man and a hard worker. He treated my children wonderful when we were together and they think of him often. he will be missed. ~Laurene
