Therese LeFante Obituary

The soul of our beautiful mother has passed in to the arms of the good Lord. Therese F. LeFante died the afternoon of Dec. 20, 2017, ending the "long goodbye."

She was 87 years old. She loved, loved tag sales and flea markets. She enjoyed working in her gardens listening to the birds with her dogs nearby. She loved the color red. She loved music. So much memory lost in later years but never words of songs. She had a beautiful voice. Therese was a longtime employee of Milton Bradley.

To cherish her memory, Therese leaves her daughters, Maria LeFante of Enfield, Christine Bregonzio (Paul) of Somers; her son, Dominick Jr., his daughter, Nicole, and her mother, Tammy, of Enfield. Her children also include Raymond and Richard Cournoyer and Therese Hotchkiss. In eternal life, she joins her husband of 50 years, Dominick; and her dear mother. Her grandchildren, Paul, Marc, Korie, and Tracie; and great-granddaughter, Adrianna.

Mom's home during her Alzheimer's journey was at Parkway Pavilion. Her daughters cannot thank her nurses, CNAs, housekeeping, maintenance, business, dining, and recreation personnel, enough, including volunteers, for your compassion and patience throughout the years. You are all angels.

Services for Therese are private.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Parkway Pavilion Resident Fund, 1157 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082.

Rest in peace, dear mother. You will always be in our hearts.
