Victoria Aliquo Obituary

Victoria Salem Aliquo, formerly of Franklin, Pennsylvania, and Manchester, passed away with her family by her side Nov. 5, 2017, in The Villages, Florida.

Victoria was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Nov. 7, 1925, and was the youngest of five siblings born to Joseph and Mary (Deeb) Salem. Victoria was a petite, barely 5-foot-tall lady with a large smile and a hearty laugh. She was a little dynamo. Her personality made it easy for people to want to be her friend and all her caregivers felt an instant connection with her. Victoria was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. She went to her weekly sessions and endured hours of treatment and discomfort. She was a very brave lady.

Victoria was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Frank. She is survived by their daughter, Deborah and husband, Robert Borello (The Villages); grandchildren, Sarah Martin and husband, Robert (Pensacola, Florida), Rebecca Borello, and Robert Borello Jr. (Cincinnati, Ohio); as well as great-grandchildren, Sadie Rose and Ellery.

Burial and life celebration will be private.

Donations in memory of Victoria can be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th St., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022, or online at
