Willard E. Saville, 83, of East Windsor, the beloved husband of the late Iris L. (Stackhouse) Saville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021.

Born in Augusta, West Virginia, son of the late Wardie and Lola (Haines) Saville. Willard was a machinist for Jacobs Vehicle Systems for over 30 years until retirement. He enjoyed NASCAR, wrestling, square dancing, bowling, camping, coaching youth baseball and softball, and attending bluegrass concerts.

He leaves behind a daughter and son-n-law, Lisa and Eric Olsen of East Windsor; a son and daughter-in-law, Willard and Bonnie Saville II of Lancaster, Ohio; grandsons, Anthony Heriot and fiancée, Courtney, David and Alexander Olsen of East Windsor, Bryan and Angela Saville, Joshua and Alicia Saville of Lancaster, Ohio, and Dustin and Shelley Saville of USN; 13 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and special dog Goose. Besides his wife Iris, he was preceded in death by siblings, Juanita, Madelyn, Carl, Allean, Richard, and Junior.

His family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions can be made to either the Warehouse Point Volunteer Fire Department, or CT Humane Society.
