George Manus Obituary
George E. Manus, 88, of German Valley, IL passed away at home on Monday, November 28, 2016. A celebration of George's life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 17th, at the Grace Valley Christian Reformed Church in German Valley. A time of food and fellowship will take place after the service. Burial will take place at the Grace Valley Christian Reformed Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the church. Condolences may be shared with his family at www.walkermortuary.com.

Words can't really say what this man has done in his lifetime, for his family, friends, neighborhood and community. George, your wonderful smile & total outlook on life will be greatly missed. Your entire family is a total replica of what you are all about. Growing up right next door to you was an absolute honor. From the first invite to church, to the welcome my family received when we first moved in next door, told me what true neighbors were all about. I still remember the five gallon buckets of peas that you guys brought us. I always felt like I was at home when invited to your house. Your legacy is definitely passed down to you entire family, for which I have the upmost respect. My memories of you will remain in my heart forever. Our thoughts, prayers, & deepest sympathies go out to you and your entire family. I hope & pray to see you again someday in heaven, as I know that's where you are right now. God bless you & your family.
