MARY BARBARA BOYLE FREEPORT - Mary Barbara Boyle was born March 28, 1919; a longtime resident of Freeport, Illinois passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. She was a lover of life and family. She was an employee at the W. T. Rawleigh Company for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her father, James Francis Boyle; her mother, Mary Boland Boyle; and her siblings, Teresa May Boyle, Ester Ellen McCurdy, Margaret Hannah Anderson, Rose Huss, James W. Boyle, John Leo Boyle, Libby D. Swank, Ellen Boyle, and Joseph Bernard Boyle. She has many nieces, nephews, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews who will all miss their "Aunt Mary", "Mimi" and even "the Queen" as she liked to be affectionately called. Mary was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Freeport. She was a strong Irish, Catholic woman, who enjoyed traveling, horses, music, parties, a good brandy or martini, and even a trip or two to the casinos. She will be sorely missed by all the friends she met during her travels-from her hometown of Freeport, Illinois to Wisconsin. From the heartland of Texas to the Show me State of Missouri; to the Sportsmans Paradise of Louisiana to Alabama. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
