Robert Raders Obituary
Robert Brent Raders, 77, of Freeport, IL passed away on Friday October 28, 2016. He was born in Freeport, IL on May 1, 1939 to Robert and Cecelia Raders. He was a graduate of St. Mary's School, Freeport Aquin, and Loras College. He married Helen Rohde in 1963 at St. Thomas Church in Freeport, where he would continue to be a member. Robert worked in Insurance all of his life. He is survived by his wife; Helen Raders, children; Chris (Lisa) Raders, Jenny Shafer, Susan (Anthony) Midthun, sister; Pat (Paul) Frey, and 5 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Cecelia.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Freeport. Visitation will be prior to Mass at 9:30 a.m. Officiating is Father Ken Anderson. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Helen and family: I was so sorry to hear of Brent's passing and hope he did not suffer. We were a very small class at St Thomas and every loss is heartfelt. My sympathy and prayers for his soul and for you in your grief.
