Russell James Cobb 1956—2016
Russell James Cobb, 60, from Freeport, IL passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016. He was born August 6, 1956, in Freeport, IL to Russell and Lois (Strohecker) Cobb. He was a contractor and carpenter. Russell is survived by his sons, John (Tiffany) Cobb, James Cobb; daughter, Josie Cobb; grandchildren, Kole, Kaelynn, Karter, Samantha, Stella; brothers, Joe (Cris) Cobb, Ed Cobb; sister, Sandy (Art) Poehlman; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Ellen (Robert) Pfeiffer.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel in Freeport, IL. Burial will be Monday, September 12, 2016, at St. Joseph Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his name. Online condolences and memories can be shared with the family at www.schwarzfh.com
