Andy was born to Tina and Victor Verdooren on July 25th, 1963, in Geneva, IL. Andy Passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, while watching Husker football with his family. He was a long-term employee of Ameritas life Insurance in Lincoln, NE where he was loved and respected by many coworkers and friends. In his free time Andy enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and spending time with his Granddaughter Avery, who was very special to her "Papa".
He was preceded in death by his mother Tina Verdooren; brother Walter Verdooren; and furkids Sassy, Ginger, Tigger and Lucy. Andy is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Jennifer A Verdooren; children Ashley (Keaton) Korth and furkids Sadie, Annie and Henry; Grandchildren Avery, and grandfur babies Oakley and Ella; his Father Victor; Sister Barb; Brother Vince; Nieces Leah and Haley as well as other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 15, 2021, at Wyuka Funeral Home 3600 "O" Street Lincoln, NE 68510. Masks are required inside. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be designated to Capital Humane Society. Online Condolences may be left at www.wyuka.com.

I was very saddened to hear the news of Andy's passing. I reconnected with him on FB several years ago. He was truly of the gentle souls who touches countless other lives along the journey. My sincerest sympathy to his family.
