Barbara Jean DeRiese

Barbara Jean DeRiese, 75, Lincoln passed away July 5, 2022. Born July 17, 1946, in Minden, NE to Herman F. and Lucille (Scheuneman) Hadan. Barbara served as a Legislative Aide for District #38 at the State Capitol. She attended St. Mark's United Methodist Church, was a member of Order of Eastern Star, P.E.O., Nebraska Realtor's Association and held an office with the Phelps County Board of Realtors.
Family members include her husband, Dale; sons Steve (Gail) and Scott (Brynley) DeRiese, and daughter Suzanne DeRiese; grandchildren Madison (Zach) Krieger, McKenna DeRiese (fiancé Jack Snyder), Bodey, Brigston, and Behrett DeRiese, and Jaron DeRiese-Kildare; sister-in-law Nancy Hadan; sister Shirley (Neil) Schneurle; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Don Hadan.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (7-12-22) Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive. Livestream available at roperandsons.com/livestream. Memorials to the Capital Humane Society or Cause for Paws. Condolences at Roperandsons.com
