Carl Jensen, 66, of Lincoln, passed away December 10, 2025, at home.

He was born on April 2, 1959, in Sidney, NE, to John and Joyce (Larson) Jensen. Growing up he lived in Lincoln and Peru, NE. He graduated from Lincoln East High School and attended the University of Nebraska.

Carl married Rhonda Von Kaenel, June 28, 2008. Carl enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, going on a yearly rock hunting trip to New Mexico with his brothers, going to rock shows, all things to do with rocks, reading, fishing and nature. Carl had a good-hearted nature, a gentle soul and loved to be

humorous. One of Carl's best adventures was when his brothers and him climbed to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.

Carl is survived by his wife, Rhonda; stepchildren, Blake Von Kaenel and Lindsey, Mike and Tasha Von Kaenel, Jason Von Kaenel and Lea; grandchildren, Miles, Stella, Tyler and Mavrick Von Kaenel and Alexandria Von Kaenel; siblings, Jack and Jodeen Jensen, Randy and Carlene Jensen, Kristen and Pete

Aranda; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; beloved dog and fur baby Lily.

Carl was preceded in death by parents, John and Joyce Jensen.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel 4300 O Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
