Charles "Chuck" M. Stevens, age 83, of Lincoln, Neb. passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
Chuck was born April 25, 1941, to Manley and Dorothy Stevens in Sterling, Colo.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Connie Stevens; children, Sheila (Collen Beard) Stevens, Kelly Matsuda, Kendra (Ryan) Gerlach, Kevin (Krista) Stevens; brother, Alan (Beth) Stevens; grandchildren, Chloe Matsuda, Macy Matsuda, Trey Stevens, Evan Gerlach, Chase Gerlach, Zach Stevens; many other relatives and friends.
A memorial celebration of life for Chuck will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at First Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 D St., Lincoln, NE 68512.

Chuck worked many of our games over the years and was always great to work with. He was always the best. He had a smile on his face and asked the right questions during his pregame work for his broadcasts. I have missed seeing him after he retirement. He interviewed some of the best coaches in the state during his time doing the high school games. It was great to listen to him on the radio. He will be missed. Thanks for sharing with all of us Chuck!

We enjoyed having the Steven´s Family as our neighbors in Lincoln. Chuck was a great guy, full of wonderful stories. If I wasn´t talking to him in person, I was listening to him on the radio. Our Sons remain best friends to this day. Wonderful Memories.
