As Corwin's youngest daughter I'd like to thank everyone for the kind comments about him, and also about our Mom. They were both amazingly unique and loving people, and we will miss them dearly. Thank you--

My husband and I arrived in Lincoln to attend graduate school at UN from Taiwan. We were introduced by foreign student advisor to Mr. & Mrs. Moore to be our host family. The friendship lasted over 40 years. Our children call them grandpa and grandma Moore. They helped us with our wedding and also attended our son's wedding. We consider ourself the luckist people for we were blessed to have them in our life. They were the most loving, caring and generous people. Thank you for everything. May God bless your soul. You will be missed by those who were touch by you.

My father, Howard Austin, and Corwin date back to UN college days as Sigma Ki brothers. I believe somewhere we have a photo of them in their fraternity Glee Club looking so tall, young and handsome. For my parent's entire life, Corwin has been their trusted financial advisor, even for years after he had officially retired. Our family is indebted to dear Corwin for his sound advise and never ending friendship to my father. Corwin, with his gentle loving spirit, was a true blue friend to my dad, even threw difficult times. Corwin and Alice had a humble, warm and loving grace, and smile that will never be forgotten by anyone who knew them. Thank you, God, that their souls are now united!

I grew up with the Moore children and sang in the choirs with them. When my husband and I got married in 1973 we put our car in their garage during the wedding. When I saw Corwin in church last month, I asked him if he remembered that and he said, did I ever collect the rent on that. I responded, oh my, the interest would be horrid. We just laughed. I remember his humor, his kindness and his love of music. It was a privilege to sing in the choir today for his funeral.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Corwin was our CPA for our family business in Exeter for many years and although we were probably his smallest client, he always extended the most gracious service and was always available to answer any question, any time of the day, at work or home, no matter how insignificant. His gentle voice always calmed my concerns.

Corwin and Alice invited my family to dinner at their unique home several years ago. We were treated to an excellent dinner and they were wonderful hosts. Alice and Corwin were very kind and gracious – intellectuals without pretension. Corwin was the very model of a gentleman who supported his family and his community. He will truly be missed. The best way to honor his memory would be to emulate the way he lived his life.

I met the Moores over thirty years ago and recall their support of the arts in Lincoln and Corwin's warm, friendly greeting when we would meet.

Dear family,
We are thinking of all of you and know how much you will miss your dad! All of us certainly think of his unique handshake and wonderful laugh as we recall many fond memories of our time with Uncle Corwin. May God bless each of you!

Corwin and Alice were both special people to my children as they were growing up. Corwin took time out from a family gathering with his twin brother to attend Jason's Eagle Court of Honor as his surrogate grandfather. One of the tombstone rubbings that was done on one of Alice's trips is hanging on our living room wall and I think of them each time I look at it. The world was a better place for having had the Moores as a part of it.
