David Allan Thiel
June 7, 1952 - June 13, 2022
David Allan Thiel, 70, of Lincoln, passed away at home on June 13, 2022. Born on June 7, 1952 in North Platte, to Glenn and Elizabeth Thiel. Moving to Lincoln in 1955 and graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School in 1971.
Continuing to a degree in photography and working for the Lincoln Journal Star. He would marry Cheri Summerer in 1974 and having children Daniel, Dennis and Christel.
He ran Anchor Insurance Agency, worked for the Nebraska Department of Insurance. And was a Independent Contractor performing Insurance Policy Inspections. He was active in the Community in Church, Choirs, and photography.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 20, 2022 at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home at 4040 A Street, 2 pm. Donations may be made to the family for a chartable donation in Dave's memory at a later date. www.bmlfh.com

Was so very sorry to hear of David's passing. Remember him as a caring and friendly classmate at LSE. Was glad to have seen him at the 50th class reunion. Prayers and condolences to his family during this hard time.
