Nora, Kids and Harre Family,
Can't explain how devastating it was to come home from vacation and hear of your loss. Your on my mind every day with loving memories. From those long talks at my kitchen table, the parties, your glowing parents prancing you down the aisle, the birth of your son, the help with Danettes Wedding, your move from Lincoln and then to Fargo.
There is no way any of us can explain how we feel about how this page of your lives, has turned. Only to say we're so very sorry and we will always remember that great guy with his big smile that would light up the room. I will keep you all in my prayers for easier days to come soon.

On behalf of the Lincoln Memorial Day Observance Association (LMDOA) we would like to express our sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one. A man of great courage who served in our nation’s military , so that we may have the freedoms we enjoy in America today. Each year, a Candlelight Vigil is held on Memorial Day night at the Antelope Park Veterans Memorial Garden, 30th and “A” Street in Lincoln (East of the Auld Building). At this time, all names of veterans of our Armed Forces, in Lancaster County, who passed away since the last Memorial Day Candlelight Service, are read in a solemn ceremony. DAVID'S name will be read at this time. We invite you to come out for this service and bring your family and friends. Time is tentatively set for 8pm. This is Lincoln’s way of honoring our veterans whom shall not be forgotten. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

David will forever be remembered by all of us whose lives he touched in so many ways. He was always the one whose smile would light up a room when our families gathered for special occassions or for the holidays we celebrated together when growing up. May God's peace comfort you and your family at this most difficult time of sorrow and may HIS SMILE be forever a memory of life and love he had for his family and friends.
