Survivors: father, Kirby Behrends, Auburn; brother, Jared King, Auburn; sister, brother-in-law, Dana and Chris Gerdes, Palmyra; grandmothers, Ardis Behrends and Betty Able, both of Auburn; many other relatives; friends.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Auburn Christian Church. Burial of ashes will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Peru. Visitation: 9 a.m-9 p.m. Monday, Hemmingsen Funeral Home, Auburn. No viewing; cremation.

used to go to high school with him, was my first friend to click up with when moving there to a new town. After school wed go to his house like a ritual and enjoy a Pepsi in a cup of ice and I can still hear him making the 'ahhhhh" sound after that first drink, say hello to his cat rusty..Then he would plug in his mp3 player to his old mans stereo and play along to songs from mudvayne. pretty cool to watch just like a lot of my friends then that were musically and skateboard talented guys like Jeremy H. and Scotty W..
