Donald Knuth Obituary

Donald R. Knuth 58, Lincoln resident since 1995, died Wednesday (6/4/08) at his home. Born Ft. Knox, Ky. (5/25/1950) to Donald H. and Lorraine (Lambert) Knuth. Custodian with ServiceMaster for the past 10 years. Previously employed 17 years with Anchor Glass Co.in Gurnee, Ill. Member: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Yankee Hill Ward of the Church. Attended Chicago Academy of Fine Arts 3 years, majoring in photography.
Family members include wife, Susan M.; sons, Addison Robert and Skyler Loren Knuth, Lincoln; mother, Lorraine Lambert Knuth, Waukegan, Ill.; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles M. Knuth, Greenbelt, Md.; Joel M. and Nan Knuth, Las Vegas, Nev.; nieces, nephews. Preceded in death by father, Donald H. Knuth.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m.Monday (6/9/08) at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3000 Old Cheney Road. Bishop Nathan Teuscher officiating. Entombment in Wyuka Mausoleum. Memorials to the family for future designation. Visitation: 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday (6/8/08) with family greeting friends from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 "O" St.; and one hour prior to service time at the Church on Monday.
