Donna J. Lindstedt

Donna J. (Lundberg) Lindstedt, 76, Lincoln, went home to be with the Lord on Monday (7/25/05). Loving wife, mother, grandmother and good friend to many. She fought a battle with lung cancer with grace and courage. Born, Rockford, Ill., Sept. 23, 1928, to Kenneth and Lola Lundberg. Married, Charles Robert "Bob" Lindstedt, Sept. 4, 1948. She resided in Rockford for 70 years before moving to Lincoln in 1999. Former member: Alpine Lutheran Church, Rockford; current member, First Lutheran Church, Lincoln. Retired, Liberty Mutual Insurance. She will be greatly missed.

Survived by: son, daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cathy Lindstedt, Davis Junction, Ill.; daughter, son-in-law, Jill and Michael Cox, Lincoln; grandchildren, Rachel, Benjamin, Bethany, Faithe Cox, all Lincoln, Aaron Lindstedt, Davis Junction; sister, brother-in-law, Nadine and Bob Kellaney, Arizona; brother-in-law, sister-in-law, Donald and Sandra (Lindstedt) Pearson, Rockford. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles Robert Lindstedt; infant granddaughter, Rebekah Joy Cox.

Graveside services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Rockford. Vicar Nico Ashe of Alpine Lutheran Church. Memorials to family for a charity to be designated at a later time. Arrangements entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home.
