Eva Dahlinger Obituary

Eva Laura Olson Dahlinger, 83, Brookings, S.D., formerly of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday (12/16/08). Born July 24, 1925 in Alexandria, S.D. to William & Alvina Dittman. Eva worked at Gooch Milling from 1946 until her retirement. She married Lawrence Olson in 1942, Alfred Schoneweis in 1974 and Dave Dahlinger in 1990. They precede her in death.
Survivors: son & daughter-in-law, Dale & Jan Olson, Brookings, S.D.; grandchildren & spouses, Dale II & Peggy Jo Olson, Newton Grove, N.C.; Michelle & Dan Nelsen, Lincoln; great granddaughters: Taylor, Elizabeth, Faith; great grandsons: Matthew, Joseph, Andy & Alex; brother, Bill & Patty Dittman, Camarillo, Calif.; one brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents; husbands; one brother; two sisters.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday (12/20/08) at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1200 S. 40th St., Lincoln. Rev. Lowell Hennigs will officiate. Visitation Friday (12/19/08) from 2-8 p.m. with family greeting friends 2-3 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Saturday, meet at gate 2. Memorials to American Diabetes Assn. or American Cancer Society. Condolences may be left online at lincolnfh.com.
