Yesterday
Eva and I have always considered it a blessing to have Frankie in our life. She was a rock and a guiding light, a cheer leader and a teacher.
Frankie took us under her wing when we, a family of refugees from Poland, landed in Lincoln NE in 1981. Our friendship started then, never faded, never weakened despite hundreds of miles that came in between us. We called her our American Mom and like good Mothers do, she made sure that we were properly prepared for the life ahead of us. And if you know Frankie, you must know that she never did anything half way... If it was worth doing, it was worthwhile overdoing seemed to be her modus vivendi! She invested her precious time and a lot of effort and devotion into shaping us, encouraging us and setting lofty goals for us. Her firm belief in us got us going and whatever we may have accomplished in this new home country of ours we owe to her. Thank you, Frankie, for being such an inspiration and a tremendous, positive force in our life. We are in your debt for ever.
You had a very busy and accomplished life, now we can pray that you rest in we´ll deserved peace.
