Frances Virginia (Morrissette) McNenny 86, Lincoln, formerly of Beatrice, passed away Thursday morning (3/19/09) at the Ashland Care Center. She was born on February 20, 1923 in Durham N.C. to Howard and Essie (Chandler) Morrissette, She and her family moved to Hot Springs, Ark. as a young girl, where she graduated from Hot Springs High School. She and George McNenny were married on Feb 8, 1945 in Hot Springs, and then moved to Beatrice with her family in 1961. Their custom designed home on Belvedere Drive was well known as the site of many entertainment events, and was a showcase of her decorating talents.
