Mr. Arthur was the Principal at Everett Junior High, during my years there. I found him to be friendly and approachable. As a seventh grader, I expected the Principal to be a stern person, ruling with an iron fist. Mr. Arthur was a pleasant surprise, and would stand out in the hallway in between classes and greet students passing by. I ran into him later when I was in High School, and he immediately recognized me and we had a nice chat. A good guy!
