I KNOW I AM VERY LATE, BUT I LIVE IN PHEONIX AND THE DAUGHTER OF A FORMER STUDENT OF FRANKS IN DESHLER , TOLD ME HE PASSED IN 2021.
MY NAME IS JOHN HEFFNER. I WAS VERY CLOSE WITH FRANK. WE GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER WHEN I WAS THE HEAD FOOTBALL COACH FOR THE 8 MAN ALL STAR GAME IN HASTINGS. A FEW YERS LATER I WALKED OUT ON THE BOB DEVANEY SPORS CENTER IN MARCH AND REFERREED THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME FOR HIM WHEN HE WON THE TITLE AT HAMPTON. WE WERE VERY CLOSE. A GREAT MAN. SO SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING.
