Grace Virginia Hattan, 89, of Lincoln passed away March 1, 2022. Born December 23, 1932, in Grafton, NE to John and Rose (Mueller) Keenan. Grace was a secretary for 19 years for Ameritas, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lincoln Women's Chamber of Commerce, St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary, and Lincoln General Hospital Auxiliary.
Family members include her daughters Brenda Osborne and Andi Hattan Haberlan; son Dr. Greg (Lucy) Hattan, all of Lincoln; grandchildren Keenan Hattan Haberlan, Lorenzo Hattan, Isabella Hattan, and Robert Osborne; great-grandson James Paez; nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, sister Betty Gray, brothers Jerry Keenan and Francis Keenan.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (3-8-22) Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive. Memorials to Peoples City Mission. Condolences online at Roperandsons.com

Virginia was a special friend. We have fond memories of family barbeques together in our younger years. Eldon worked with Bob and we all became close friends. We enjoyed going to travelogues together and many warm conversations. We have so many fond memories of Virginia and our prayers are with the Hatten family.

I am so sorry to hear of Grace's passing. I work in the Volunteers and Customer Care department at Bryan Medical Center and Grace was a gracious woman who was always smiling when she came to volunteer. Deepest sympathies to you all.

Grace was a dear friend at Ameritas. Her smile and laugh linger in my memories with her. She loved you kids and was soo proud of you all. Grace is with her Bob now..how dear they were to each other. We send loving hugs to Grace's family.. Rheeta and Randy Baker
