Joel David Nielson, 49, of Lincoln, passed away October 25, 2025. He was born June 7, 1976, in Omaha, to David and Mavis (Fjell) Nielson.
Joel was a stockroom worker at Zoetis Logistics. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Waverly.
Family members include his parents, David and Mavis Nielson; sister, Christina Jueneman (Brian); brother, Andrew Nielson (Erica), all of Waverly; and five nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 12 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Peace Lutheran Church, 9831 N. 145th St., Waverly, Neb. Private burial in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation with family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2025, Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel.
