Preceded in death by: husband, Thomas J.; parents, Willard and Meda Emery; son, Thomas, Jr.; three brothers; three sisters.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lincoln. Fathers Thomas Walsh and Lyle Johnson. Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 S. 14th St. Rosary, video memorial: 7 p.m. Thursday, Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St. Memorials: Sacred Heart School or Capital Humane Society.

I had the double priviledge of being friends with Jo and then being her Hospice nurse. What a wonderful woman! She was so dear to many, many people and will be greatly missed! I will keep all of your wonderful family in my prayers daily!

I served with Jo as an officer in the Sacred Heart Altar Society & shared alot of laughs with her & my husband, Joe worked along side Tom over at Sacred Heart Parish. Jo was a wonderful role model for us younger mothers & I have only the fondest of memories of her. May God Bless Her Soul & Grant Jo Eternal Rest.
