Dear Karen, Polly Jo, Kristine and Richard....
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was always such a handsome, quiet man. I have so many memories of spending time with you Karen..tip- toeing around the house when your Dad would take his naps to prepare for his intense work schedule. I also remember his taking us back to Nebraska one semester..( our car pooling) and stopping out at this big open field and hill overlooking Omaha. He described his involvement with the project that was to be called "Regency Park". We just couldn't imagine that anyone would really want to live THAT FAR OUT...yet alone in an expensive, exclusive home way out there! He was such a visionary!
Ironically, my own father died just a month before...and we are still in shock and grieving. Only when you experience a loss like this can you truly understand.
