Laurie Ann (Knaub) Andreas

Laurie Ann (Knaub) Andreas, 73, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her husband and daughter.

Laurie was born March 3, 1952, to Henry and Twila (Kouba) Knaub in Lincoln.

Laurie was such a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that anyone could ask for. She worked for many years as a cafeteria manager, where her warmth and dedication made her a beloved figure among students and staff alike. Laurie's heart for service extended beyond her job. She was a longtime Girl Scout leader and youth coach, giving countless hours to mentoring and guiding young people in her community. Her patience, strength, and sense of fun made her a role model to many. She will be deeply missed, by not only her family and friends but everyone she touched with her beautiful smile and heart.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and sister.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Andreas; her daughter, Amanda Zwiener; and her cherished granddaughter, Maci Zwiener.; brother-in-law, Jack Knickman, niece, Lisa, great-niece, Montana, sister-in-law, Joann (Dan) Hyland; nephew, Matt, great-niece, Madison, niece, Mallory (Mitch) Connelly, great nephew Cohen, great niece Collyns, friend Connie Lounder many other family and friends.

Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2025, with the Celebration of Laurie's Life at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, with luncheon to follow all at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln 68510.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for further designate.
