Linda Lockhart

August 27, 1960 - August 25, 2025

Linda Lockhart, age 64 of Elmwood, Neb., passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. She was born on August 27, 1960, in Lincoln, Neb., to Lonnie and Sharon (Phillips) Rorie.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Stacey & Ben Murdoch, Shelby & Brian Krings, and Whitney & Andrew Throener; her adored grandchildren, Asha & Harper Murdoch, Jayden Halferty (Jakob Boucher), Isabelle Halferty, Riggins Krings, and Jack & Drew Throener; her parents, Lonnie & Sharon Rorie; her siblings, Lonnie & Susan Rorie, Lori & Jim Kerns, Scott & Leanna Rorie, Tim & Deanna Rorie, and Mary & Wes Royal, alongside numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Lockhart.

A Celebration of Life to honor Linda's memory will be held at the Elmwood Fire Station in Elmwood, Neb., on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 4 p.m., followed by a reception.

The family requests that donations be directed to the family for future designation.
