Marian Helen Statton, 100, of Lincoln passed away November 24, 2024. Born January 10, 1924, in Waterloo, IA to Claude and Helen (Bulthuis) Orvis.
Marian was a member of the First Plymouth Congregational Church, Lincoln Symphony Guild, P.E.O. Chapter DL, Midwest Metropolitan Opera Auditions Board, Medical Auxiliary, Tuesday Review, and Pink Ladies.
Family members include her daughter, Martha (John) Imbolzana, Newark, DE; son, Stephen (Linda) Statton, Lincoln; her AFS daughter, Ipek Merey; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; daughter, Rebecca Statton; and sister, Roberta McKee.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
