Funeral Services for Matt Belitz age 57 of Neligh, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Neligh, with Father John Norman, officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Neligh. Visitation will be Monday, September 1, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 wake service at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Beyer Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Neligh will be handling the arrangements. Matt passed away on August 27, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska, after a courageous battle with frontal temporal dementia.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to the family at a later designation.

It was very saddening to learn of Matt's passing. I was privileged to work with Matt at Bryan hospital in Lincoln for several years. He was exemplary as a therapist and as a person. He will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched.
