Norman A. Kavan, Sr., 94 years, of Fremont, NE, passed away, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont.
Norman was born on February 17, 1931, to Albin and Mary (Pacl) Kavan in North Bend, NE.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Cedar Bluffs, NE. Rev. Mark Weber will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., at Moser Memorial Chapel in Cedar Bluffs. Burial with military honors will take place at Prague National Cemetery in Prague, NE. Jn.10:27-28 What a privilege to serve our Lord with Norm and Norma at St. Matthew. He relieved me from having to grow sweet corn in my garden since he had more than our family or the county could eat under irrigation.
