Norman Sell Obituary

Norman Dale Sell

March 24, 1935 - October 9, 2025

Norman "Norm" Sell, 90, of Denton, passed on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his home in Denton, Neb. Norm was born to Mary Margaret (Papeirnik) Sell and Zera "Z.A." Sell in Arcadia, Neb. He was the fifth born out of six children. He graduated from Arcadia High School and went to Milford for Diesel Mechanics. He married his wife of 69 years, Juanita "Joyce" Sell in 1956. In 1958, Norm started a service station business, Norm's Car Care and later built a parts store, A Street Auto Parts, both located on 40th and A Streets in Lincoln. Norm was an avid outdoorsman. He grew up hunting, fishing and shared that love with his family, along with water skiing, snow skiing, sledding and even ice boating. He spent 33 years at his cabin on the Missouri River near the Ft. Randall Dam. Norm and Joyce were members of the Model T club in Lincoln, touring in their two T's. Norm attained his pilot's license and had a love helping and teaching people how to drive Model T's, and taking youth up in his plane to try to spark an interest in them for flying.

Memorials can be sent to Butherus, Maser and Love Mortuary.

Condolences can be sent to www.bmlfh.com.

Norm was one of the 'good guys' in the parts business and life in general. Always a truthful, honest person you could trust. RIP my friend.
