Phyllis A. Oberg, age 94, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
She was born on November 29, 1930, in Smithfield, Neb., to her parents, Herman and Mima Holthus.
She married Leland Oberg in June of 1950, and they raised three children, Greg, Steve, and LeAnn, in Gothenburg, Neb. In 1968, they moved to Lincoln, Neb.
Phyllis earned her teaching certificate, but was very devoted to being a wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, square dancing, golfing, puzzles, cardinals and she loved her sweet Cocker Spaniel, Tiffany.
Survived by her sons, Greg (Kim) Oberg and Steve Oberg (Karla Labenz); and grandsons, Preston and Dallas Oberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Oberg and daughter, LeAnn.
Services: Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10 a.m., Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 So. 14th Street. Memorials to the family to be designated at a later date. Condolences www.lincolnfh.com.

Phyllis and Lee were neighbors and lived across the street from us in the fox hollow area of Lincoln. Nice neighbors and sorry to hear of both Lee and Phyllis' deaths. Rest in peace and condolences to their children and families.
