Richard Harbour Obituary
He grew up in the Stella area and graduated from SE Consolidated High School in 1969. He was a great jokester and storyteller. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to ride horses as well as being an amateur bull rider. He farmed for many years and worked at Auburn Consolidated Industries in Auburn until his heath began to fail. Richard's greatest achievement was his six children, and his proudest moments were his eight grandchildren, who thought the world of him.
One can't say Richard didn't fight the good fight. His bravery and courage should be a great lesson to us all.
Survivors: wife, Pam; children, Kathrena, son-in-law Timothy Dettmann, Kimberly Nichols, Corey Harbour, Krystal, son-in-law Troy Nickels, Stacy, son-in-law Bill Boden, Kandace Nichols; parents, Leon and Oleta Harbour; mother-in-law, Ora Eltiste; sisters, Jan, brother-in-law Michael Mason, Kay, brother-in-law Donald Koch, brother-in-law Keil Eltiste, brother and sister-in-law, Lonny and Jane Eltiste; brother- and sister-in-law, Hal Clarke and Fran Eltiste; grandchildren, Logan, Cole and Katie Dettmann, Shay, Wyatt and Sydnee Nickels, Iyleigh and Elleon Boden; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and a host of friends from Darlings' Cafe.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nemaha County 4-H Building, Auburn. Johnson Cemetery, Johnson. Visitation: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m., Hemmingsen Funeral Home, Auburn. Memorials to the family's choice.
