Richard H. Wieser

December 2, 1948 - June 6, 2025

Richard H. Wieser, 76 of Lincoln Neb., passed away on June 6, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1948, in Omaha, to Harold and Viola Wieser.

Rich attended Humprey St. Mary and Humphrey High, graduating in 1967. He graduated from Southeast Community College, going on to work for the State of Nebraska. Rich retired from Metromail/Experian Corporation in 2013.

Rich was an avid golfer, bowler, and fan of the Green Bay Packers and Lincoln Stars.

Rich was preceded in death by parents; brother, Larry Wieser; sister-in-law, Karen Wieser; and niece, Pam Paczosa.

Rich is survived by spouse, Michelle George; sister, Sally Behle; children, Angela (Jeff) Erks, Matt Wieser, Nick Wieser; grandchildren, Kane Bower-Wieser, Amarra Bower; and stepson, Mike (Jenn) Cummins; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Butherus Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street.

Services will be held at Butherus Maser Love Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m. with graveside services at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

A celebration of life to follow at Down The Hatch, 5601 N. 1st Street, around 1:30 p.m.

Memorials to be determined at a later date by family.
