Robert "Bob" Dean Matoush, 77, of Lincoln, NE passed away January 3, 2023. Born December 14, 1945, in Ogallala, NE to Dick and Elvera (Spillman) Matoush. Bob grew up in Julesburg, CO and graduated from Julesburg High School Class of 1963. Bob has been a warrior his entire life beginning with the diagnosis of polio on January 13, 1950 and his recent bout with cancer. He retired in 2007 after 42 ½ years with Goodyear as a cost accountant. He was a productive member of both St. Mark's United Methodist Church and Cornhusker Kiwanis.
Family members include his wife, Shirley; children Kelley Matoush-Snover, Seward Co., Kyle (Monica) Matoush, Fairfax Station, VA, Kasey (Laura) Matoush, Korey (Nicole) Matoush, Keri Matoush (Blake Humphrey), and Kip Matoush (Brianna Loeck), all of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, half-brother Bernard Matoush and his parents-in-law, mom and dad Stratton.
The family wants to thank Dr. Irfan Vaziri, NHO, and Traditions Health Hospice, and their wonderful staff members for their kindness and care of Bob and his family.

I will surely miss Bob as we worked together on many projects during my involvement with Cornhusker Kiwanis. the Kiwanis club will surely miss the efforts of Bob and all the cheer he brought forth to the club. My condolences to the Family and know he is in a better place.

Shirley, my sincerest sympathy to you and all your family. Working with Bob made bad days at Goodyear better. I can't tell you anything about Bob you don't already know but, just want to say that I held Bob in the highest esteem as a man, of not just intelligence, but of integrity. He loved and, took great pride in all his family, as I'm sure you
