Ronald "Ron" Lee Cummins

July 31, 1934 - October 22, 2025

He was born in Dawson, Neb. on July 31, 1934 to Glenn L. and Fern G. (Porter) Cummins. He went to be with his heavenly father on October 22, 2025. He enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard in 1953. He served for eight years as a Light Weapons Infantry soldier. Retired equipment mechanic for Lincoln Electric System in Lincoln, Neb. Member of Methodist Church; Sun City Posse; Master Mason, A.F. & A.M. Lincoln Lodge #19 Lincoln, Neb.; Mount Moriah Commandery #4, Lincoln, Neb.; Order of Eastern Star, Electa Chapter #8, Lincoln, Neb.

Survivors: wife, Sandra; son, Jeffery (Christy) Cummins; daughter, Stephanie Gomes; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Randall (Brenda) Deahn, Kim (Dan) Bryant and Valerie (Todd) Kinghorn; nine step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren; brother, William Cummins of Fairbury, Neb.; Hazel Cummins, sister-in-law, Humboldt, Neb.; cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by father, Glenn; mother, Fern; brother, Larry; and sister-in-law, Imogene Cummins.
