Ruby L. (Burcham) Gross

Ruby L. Gross (Burcham),102, of Lincoln passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was born September 28, 1918 to Russell and Alta (Deaver) Burcham in Westerville, NE. She worked for Miller & Paine and Lincoln General at the switchboard for many years. Ruby was a member of Temple Baptist church of Lincoln for 73 years and involved in many church groups. Ruby enjoyed gardening and playing the piano.
Survivors include, son, Jayell (Shirley) Gross of Waco, TX, daughter-in-law, Ann Gross of Lincoln, her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle; sister, Marie; son Darrell; and daughter, Kathy.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Friday (4/16/2021) at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr. Lincoln, NE. Public visitation from 5-7 p.m., Thursday (4/15/2021) at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Monday (4/19/2021) at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery meeting at Gate 2. Face coverings are required. Memorial contributions may be directed towards the Temple Baptist Church, 4940 Randolph St, Lincoln, NE 68510. Live streaming and condolences online at Roperandsons.com.
