Sandra (Sandy) M. Nabity

Sandra (Sandy) M. Nabity, age 80, died Monday, November 21, 2022. Born February 11, 1942, in Omaha, NE, graduate of Grand Island Central Catholic High School (1959), she attended Duchesne College and graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing (1962). Although she excelled in her nursing career, earning several awards, Sandy was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her 5 children (Cathy (Mike) Flood of Brownsburg, IN; Diane Nabity of Las Vegas, NV; Mark (Rosa) Nabity of Silver Springs, MD; Kris (Jeff) Maul of Lincoln, NE; and Scott Nabity of Berkeley, CA); 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 5 younger siblings; and her ex-husband, Virgil Nabity, of Lincoln, NE.
Memorials to the Women's Care Center (supportwomenscarecenter.org) in lieu of flowers. Funeral: Lincoln St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tuesday December 27, 2022, 10:30 a.m. (rosary 10:00 a.m.). Please visit www.bmlfh.com.
