Steve A. VanZandt, 82, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Lincoln, NE. He was born on December 29, 1942, in Broken Bow, NE, to Ernest "Jack" and Doris (Robinson) VanZandt.

He was retired from a 42-year career with Brunswick Corporation/Lincoln Composites/General Dynamics, last serving as purchasing director and subcontracts manager.

Steve is survived by his wife, Eileen; children, Alan (Miguel Dominguez) VanZandt, of St. Joseph, MO, and Ann (Joe) Krotter of O'Neill, NE; grandchildren, Allie Krotter, Jack Krotter, and James Krotter; sister, Janette Austin of Sargent, NE; along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Edward and Evelyn Kriss; sister, Connie Hanna and her spouse, Cliff; brothers-in-law, Don Mohr and Gaylen Austin.

A private family graveside service will take place in Sargent, NE.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Lincoln.

Memorials are designated to the Alzheimer's Association or Lincoln Public Schools Foundation for the Riley Elementary School's Garden Fund.
