Steven Mayer, 70, Lincoln, NE passed away peacefully at his home on July 23, 2021. Born October 4, 1950 in North Bend, NE to Earl and Maxine (Andrews) Mayer.

Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary of Lincoln; brothers, James (Pam) Mayer, Robert (Jan) Mayer; sisters, Janet (Alvany) Justiniano, Linda Foster, brother-in-law, David Lee (Lynne) George; sister-in-law, Sandy George, Nan Reinhardt; numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Preceded in death by parents; grandparents; brother–in–law, William George. He was loved by many. His contagious witty humor will be missed by all.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (7-28-21) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 'O' Street. Visitation from 5-7pm Tuesday at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.
