Thelma Harriet Chase, 107, of Lincoln, formerly of Lemoyne, passed away January 22, 2021. Born September 18, 1913, in Maywood, NE, to Bernie & Zela (Rote) Saum.
Family members include her children, Barbara (John-deceased) Mueller of Lincoln, Marjorie (Vernon) Schluterbuch of Bridgeport, Carol (Bill) Juelfs of Bridgeport, Robert S. (Stephanie) Chase of Lincoln; 5 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild. Preceded in death by husband, Sidney V., parents, brothers, Warren, Wayne and Ryland Saum; sister, Twyla Bates; granddaughter, Magdalene.
Funeral Service: 1:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Roper & Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive. A livestream link will be available 10 minutes prior to the service on www. roperandsons.com. For many many years, Thelma graced us with her presence. Years ago, every week. While her visits became farer and fewer in between in the last year, we will still miss her smile and light. What a kind soul. Prayers for comfort for all of you.
