Thomas Belka Obituary
April 10, 1943 - December 8, 2025
Thomas E. Belka was born in Lincoln on April 10, 1943, to Edward and Bertha (Dedic) Belka and passed away on December 8, at the age of 82. Tom graduated from Crete High School in 1961.
On April 6, 1968 he married Judy (McAdams) in Western and they shared 57 years together. Tom grew up on the farm and continued his love of farming for many years in the Crete area before moving to Lincoln. In Lincoln he worked in the administrative office of the Nebraska Supreme Court for 5 years prior to his retirement. Tom also served in the Army National Guard in Lincoln for six years.
Tom is survived by his wife Judy; son Darin (Darlene) of Tampa, Florida; sister Eunice Musil of Crete, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Linda and Dennis Zabel of Lincoln, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Bertha, sister Janice Pospichal, brothers-in-law Joe Pospichal and Norman Musil; and parents-in-law Homer and Mildred McAdams.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 3:00 pm., Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 So. 14th St. in Lincoln.
