Travis Brandt

1974 - 2025

Travis W. Brandt, 50, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2025, from a sudden illness.

He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Bill & Valora Brandt. A 1993 graduate of Lincoln East High School. He graduated in 1997 from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a BA in History. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2000. He was a member of the 1993 pledge class of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, where he formed lifelong friendships and countless memories.

Travis moved to Las Vegas in 2000, where he built a respected career as an attorney. Most recently he served as Complex Director of Casualty & Specialty Claims for AIG. Known for his professionalism, integrity & sharp intellect, Travis earned the admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

Travis was preceded in death by his father Bill; father-in-law Cesar Nunez; brother-in-law Manny Nunez; uncle & aunt, Tom & Vicki Brandt; grandparents, Bob & Ida Brandt and Harm & Marie Ideus.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Avery; wife Emmeline; mother, Valora; brother & sister-in-law Nick & Christina; his mother-in-law Maria Nunez; nieces, Remington & Reagan, all of Las Vegas; aunts Kelle Brandt & Valerie Parde, both of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Travis leaves behind cherished memories with a host of family, extended family, & countless friends he considered family. His quick wit, deep loyalty & generous heart will be remembered & missed by all who knew him.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 East Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89121. A burial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
