Trina Leigh Thomas

November 29, 1954 - July 31, 2025

Trina Leigh Thomas, 70, of Willis, Texas passed July 31, 2025. Trina was born in Houston, Texas to Jeane and William Thomas. She moved to Nebraska in the 1970's to attend the University of Nebraska – Lincoln where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Finance. She went on to own several small businesses including, LaunDRY Land, Paycheck Advance, Premier Wireless, and AAA Ultimate Pawn. She spent her later years living in Texas and passed at her home in Willis. Her entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity were unrivaled. She devoted much of her time to her business ventures but also enjoyed running, yoga, gardening and most notably had a love of parrots. She owned a number of parrots over the years and loved sharing their antics with others. She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt and uncle, Justyn and Kazuo Tada. She is survived by special friends, Lindsay Garlock, Jamie Thompson, and Allen Dayton and her entire Paycheck Advance and AAA Ultimate Pawn Family. She will be remembered as a fearless leader and dear friend.

A service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 2325 S 24th St, Lincoln Neb.
