I worked at Uni pool in 1974 with Bill. He was so kind. He was more of a friend than a boss. HE WAS THE BEST!!

Chuck & Kathy and the entire Story family. We are truly sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. Chuck, it is truly inspirational and special that you talked about your dad in your last sermon at Omaha St. Luke UMC two days before he died. Thank-you for sharing what you did. It did turn out that I (Janet) knew your dad from high-school at Lincoln Northeast. He was truly special. I knew that you (Chuck) always looked and seemed familiar, but I didn't know why. Now I do. Chuck, we miss you already at church. Good luck with your new/old endeavors. Our prayers are with you always - especially through this difficult time.
Please keep in touch.
For the entire Story family. We are truly sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather. It is never easy and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank-you for sharing a wonderful man and educator with all of us. He was truly special. Sympathy, Grace, Peace, and Prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. Mr. Story, please rest in the arms of Jesus in His peace - Forever.

Many memories of working for Mr. Story at Uni Pool, he cared about all the children there and knew all their names. Enjoyed working with him. Went to school with his children and talk to Mrs. Story . I am very sorry for your loss, he will always be looking over your family.

Coach Story tried to get me to come out for football my junior year. He said I'd be a big Target. LOL. I was 6'-5" and weighed 170 lbs dripping wet. I said no way, I would snap like a twig......litterally. Kept my baseball dreams in tact. Coach, you will be greatly missed by all you crossed paths with. Blessings to you and your family.

I grew up going to UNI pool. We loved it when the "pool owner" did flips and tricks off the diving board during safety breaks! Years later I had Mr. Story for psychology and was one of his teacher´s aides the following year. Such a sweet man and great teacher. He always had a big smile and kind word for everyone.

Loved working with Bill at Northeast! He seemed to always be happy, encouraging, playful but a serious teacher in the classroom.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity of having Coach Story as a history teacher and coach. He taught us teamwork, and hard work leads to success. He was a wonderful role model and a motivational impact to many. My love for history and team building skills were passed on to me from coach Story. May Gods blessings give comfort to coach Story´s family and the knowledge he made a huge positive difference to the many that he taught and coached at Lincoln High.

I'm one of many student athletes to cross paths with coach Story while at Lincoln Northeast in the late 70's. Could not of asked for a better role model for those formative years. Condolences to the Story family.
